The BCcampus Learning + Teaching team supports learning, collaboration and innovation in teaching, learning, and educational technology in B.C. post-secondary education.

We approach this goal through a wide range of topics, events, groups and communities.

Priorities

  • Teaching, Learning & Technology topics:  facilitation skills, scholarly approaches to teaching (including SoTL), tools to support teaching and learning, faculty development
  • Access: We strive to make PD about teaching and learning accessible to educators in a variety of ways (low and no-cost offerings, online offerings, micro-courses, bursaries and fellowships, etc.)
  • Sharing:  Open Educational Resources and practices, fostering inter-institutional collaborations and sharing

Tracy helps develop and deliver projects, events and learning opportunities about teaching, learning, and educational technology for B.C. post-secondary faculty and staff. Favourite tools are Liberating Structures and any visual practice approaches.

Leva Lee – Manager, Learning + Teaching – llee@bccampus.ca

Leva facilitates and animates learning opportunities for B.C. post-secondary educators, helping them to build community and capacity for learning for themselves and for their students. Her current work includes project lead for the Scholarly Teaching Fellows Program, the Teaching and Learning Professional Development web resource, as well as, co-facilitating the Vancouver Liberating Structures User Group.

 

 

 

 


Sylvia Currie

Sylvia Currie – Manager, Learning + Teaching – scurrie@bccampus.ca

Sylvia designs online learning opportunities for faculty and instructional staff, and coordinates the FLO (Facilitating Learning Online) family of offerings.
